Appointments
A standard appointment is 15 mins, extra time is required for multiple issues, medicals, mental health, chronic disease management, excision and skin work and emergent care.

Fee Structure
At Withcott Medical Centre, our team are committed to providing quality healthcare.
Unfortunately with successive governments not providing adequate increases to medicare rebates and continued rising costs, Medicare incentives don’t yet cover the full cost.

We want to continue to provide the best care possible, so for this reason we will remain a mixed billing practice post 1 November 2025.

Please Note

Medicare and Concession Card details MUST be kept up to date, please ensure you have both with you when attending appointments.

Your appointment will NOT be able to be bulk-billed if we do not have your current card information on file.

 

– You are required to book appointments with a doctor for all script and referral renewals.
– Private fees apply for all antenatal consultations.
– Certain procedures, consultations and treatments may involve further out of pocket expenses, please discuss this when booking your appointment. The Doctor will advise if any other costs will arise from your consultation.
– Telehealth consultations – fees apply for patients WITHOUT concession cards.
– Mental health consultations – fees apply for patients WITHOUT concession cards.
– Follow up/recall appointments are no longer bulk billed for patients without a concession card.
– Did not attend fee of $40, if failure to cancel an appointment within 2 hours of appointment.
– Fees are payable at the time of consultation.

Standard consultation fees are displayed at the practice and all fees are available from reception upon request.
